  • gilled - Mushrooms with blade-like gills under the cap

  • bracket - Shelf-like or bracket-shaped fruiting bodies on wood
  • cup - Cup-shaped or disc-shaped fruiting bodies

Edibility & Safety Tags

  • edible - Safe to eat (always verify identification carefully)
  • toxic - Causes illness or discomfort if consumed
  • deadly - Can cause death if consumed
